Everyone is now contemplating the end of auction, however, there seems to be no end in sight to the frenzied bidding for third-generation (3G) mobile airwaves even as the Government’s kitty from the auction has now swelled to whooping 65000 crore rupees. 3G Auction Update at end of Day 32 (176 Rounds) Bids for pan-India 3G mobile licenses has reached Rs161.64bn (US$3.54bn), more than double the base price of Rs35bn.
